There are moments in life that stay with you in a way you can’t quite explain. My Forever — from wedding vows to a song is one of those!
For me, one of those moments happened 9 years ago, on my wedding day.
Standing there, in front of the people we love, I sang my vows. Completely a cappella, heart racing, feeling everything all at once. I was actually quite unwell that day, but somehow I still found the strength to sing them, and in a way, that made the moment even more real.
At the time, it was just that: a moment. A promise. Something deeply personal.
I never planned for those words to become a song I will eventually share with the world.
But over the years, they stayed with me. Quietly. Gently. Returning to me at different times, asking to be revisited, reshaped, understood in a new way.
As I started writing and releasing my own music, I found myself coming back to those vows. Slowly, they began to evolve, still rooted in that original promise, but growing into something that could be shared.
My Forever became more than just a memory. It became a reflection of love over time, not just the feeling of that one day, but everything that comes after: growth, support, challenges, and choosing each other again and again.
Recording this song felt incredibly special. The version you hear now is how I always imagined it could sound, gentle and strong at the same time, honest, building in emotion, while still holding onto the intimacy of where it began.
Releasing it feels like letting go of something very personal, and at the same time, offering it to others who might find a piece of their own story in it.
